Montagne d’Ambre (Amber Mountain) is a volcanic rainforest park near Diego-Suarez with waterfalls, crater lakes, and a cooler climate than the surrounding dry north. It is excellent for ferns, chameleons, and forest walks that contrast Ankarana’s limestone heat.
