Day 1 :

Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya. On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you are met and transferred to your Nairobi hotel for rest before the safari begins. Meals: bed only.

Day 2 :

Nairobi to Samburu

Drive north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve (about 5-6 hours). Arrive for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive in this dramatic northern landscape known for rare wildlife specials. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 3 :

Explore Samburu

Full day of morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu. Search for reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk against Samburu semi-arid scenery. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 4 :

Samburu to Sweetwaters Conservancy

After breakfast, drive to Sweetwaters Game Reserve (about 2-3 hours). Enjoy conservancy game drives and visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, a refuge for rescued chimpanzees. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 5 :

Sweetwaters to Lake Nakuru
